friend left a bottle of Gulden Draak Ale at my place, probably save it for a nice dinner as it looks pretty pricey ($14).

How was it? I couldn't attend. The funds are way low and I'll barely be able to renew my RS membership this year. How was the S'more Tuesday?

S'more Tuesday was really tasty. Almost too deserty for me but you could really taste the graham crackers and marshmellows.

Drink it. It's not hard to find some more. I've heard it's very good.

Hi. Mrs xwing here. ?I have a recipe calling for Two 12-ounce bottles chestnut beer (or use any Dogfish Head beer). Is this something I can pick up at my local grocery store? If not, any good recommendations for substitutes would be greatly appreciated. ~ Thanks!

Tried New Belgium's Hoptober today. Good stuff. Not too hoppy, great flavor.

Firestone 15 release
Just got a note from Jamie at Firestone Brewery with regards to the Firestone 15 release party this Saturday. I really want to go but have a ton of stuff to get done this weekend. Anybody else going? And here is the note, below:
"The list of what’s pouring (not released prior):
Beers Scheduled to Pour:
1-2 beers from our Sour Program
BBQ Tri-tip from Cahoots
Pastries from Luna Red
Cheese pairing from La Vigne Winery
Coffee from Joebella
And of course live music, tours and the brewers on hand!"
