aren't those beers owned/operated by some of the "big" brewers that make pissy yellow beers on the side? as hard as I try not to be snobby, but I'd think that they have no business trying to encroach upon us, however unsuspectingly, with products that they themselves decide to label as the definition of a craft beer.

BLue Moon is ownerd by Coors. Pretty decent brews to have on a hot sumer day.

    Stone/Bear Republic/Fat Head's TBA

Ale brewed with brown sugar and molasses. and a losing $640 million lotto ticket.

can definitely taste both. it's an OK beer.

collaboration be damned. bring back the Green Tea IPA!
I BELIEVE I'll have another beer!

Had Ladyface's cask of the week which was their porter with chocolate chip mint. Smelled amazing and tasted like Andes mints. Pretty good stuff. Drinking Ruthless Rye. Not sure why this is getting mixed reviews. I dig it. Light enough to be a good session beer but still ballsy enough to keep you on your toes. Has the piney hop profile of a very tamed Stone IPA with the rye to balance it out at the back end.

Went to the Lab in Agoura Hills for a quickie today and tried their milk stout. I have yet to be impressed with any of their beers.

On the other hand, had a couple pours of Pliny the Younger. Damn good. Amazingly balanced hop-wise with a seriously strong malty backbone. Not sure it's worth the price/hassle/hype, but it is quite good.

When is the first annual Kings beer tasting session? I'll host...playoffs?

I have some stuff in the cellar that are screaming to come out.

Depending on when, I'm game. I have some bottles that I can pitch in as well.
