I had a chance to try this in, way among other places, Philippe's. it's pretty good and mellow. Philippe's serves other beers like Ranger IPA and Stella Artois, but the Blonde caught my attention better.
I BELIEVE I'll have another beer!
If you guys happen to come across Sierra Nevada The Dude on tap, grab a pint. Quite excellent. It's a blend of an imperial brown and Torpedo.
Tried Heretic Brewing's Evil Cousin last night. Really good IPA with a malty subtlety. Highly recommend it.

Stone's Epic is okay. But Stone Brewery has become something else. The brewery itself has become a douchebag magnet too. Went earlier this year and wasnt really feeling it. Not what I made it out to be. Overpriced and far too crowded. The crowd wasn't laid back at all either. With that said, I still made the best of it and caught a hellacious buzz. Then I drove back home to LA. That was what I called a thrill ride. Screw Magic Mountain.
Had a Red Hook ESB last night. First one I had in years. Used to love this stuff in the 90's. Saw it at BevMo for $1.99 for the 22oz bottle and was happy to be reunited with an old friend. Some of Red Hook's brews haven't stood the test of time. This one does.
