This weekend I enjoyed Baltika Wheat Ale. It is a Russian brew, and just fantastic ! Highly recommended and I will surely be buying this again in the near future.

For one of my very first posts to this forum, I think I'd like to recommend Bitburger Pilsner. It's delicious. Bevmo has it or you can hit up The Yardhouse.. it's on tap.

I also recommend the Winter Bourbon Caskale which is served at Joe's Crab Shack. I think it's a seasonal beer.

I got a few bottles of Monty Python's Holy Ale and I am very impressed. Great taste like a true English ale with head for days, in fact be ready when you open the bottle because it sure foams up. GREAT beer.

I always see that at the microbrew festival at the Santa Anita racetrack. it's good stuff.
I BELIEVE I'll have another beer!

I've not tried the Holy Ale. Never had the urge. If you say it's good then I'll have to give it a try.

This past weekend I enjoyed a few new treats:

Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout - I'm still not the biggest stout fan, but this one is definately an exception, and perhaps a gateway to appreciating stouts.

Samuel Smith's Winter Welcome Ale - **** yeah !!!! That's all I have to say about this tasty brew. I would drink this stuff again in a heartbeat.

Samuel Smith's Tadcaster Bitter - A bit dissapointed with this one. Not very bitter by any means, and weak in flavor/body when put up against anything else from Samuel Smith.

I still need to try the SS India Ale. I've got the organically produced lager getting cold for next weekend's consumption. However, I have a strange feeling that I'll be working on my Sierra Nevada Celebration Ales come Xmas weekend

Bitburger is the "Budweiser" of Germany. But it's still very drinkableas it is German.
