Ho! Ho! Ho!
Ho! Ho! Ho!
have I mentioned Kona's Pipeline Porter, made with coffee?
bought it last year, had a drink, was a bit bitter which would be normal for a beer, but the coffee flavor stood out.
now, aged the 5 bottles for a year and, boy they turned out BETTER.
the Pipeline Porter was supposed to be a limited release, but mitchrock got a 6'er recently so I guess they're now more available.
I BELIEVE I'll have another beer!
I tried some at a beer fest a couple of years ago, I didn't realize it had been released in a sixer.
Right now in the fridge waiting to be consumed:
DogFish Head 90 Minute IPA
DogFish Head 120 Minute IPA
DogFish Head Olde School Barleywine
Rogue Monk Madness
Rogue American Amber Ale
Rogue Old Crustacean 2006
Rogue St Rogue Red
Three Floyds Alpha King Pale Ale
Three Floyds Pride & Joy Mild Ale
Three Floyds Robert The Bruce Scottish Ale
Czar Brew - Russian Imperial Stout Aged In Oak Bourbon Barrels
Moylan's Old Blarney Barleywine
Moylan's White Christmas
A few evenings ago I had two 22 oz bottles of Marin Old Dipsea Barleywine. I wasn't too impressed with it. Maybe it got too warm from the ride home from the liquor store? Overall it was pretty sweet tasting and didn't pack the punch that I would expect from a Barleywine. The Bigfoot and Old Guardian are far superior.
