Picked up a 2 liter growler and had it filled with the 2007 Imperial Russian Stout. Still love this stuff.

Went to Stone last week and had a ton of great drafts. The Cali-Beglque was very very good. In fact, I got an email saying they bottled it and are only selling it at Stone until they run out. (They started selling it 2 days after I was there) They also have a combo-brew with Alesmith and Mikkeller called Alesmith/Mikkeller/Stone Belgian Style Triple Ale. I have got to find a way to get back down there ASAP.

One bad tasting note - the Ballast Point Sea Monster Stout was slimy. The only reason I tried it is because they don't bottle it and I didn't see it at their tasting room.

Oh man, I LOVE the Sea Monster Stout ! I was lucky to get a bottle that was probably a year old and it was damn good. Did you have it on draft @ Ballast Point?

I had it on draft at Stone. Must have been a skunked beer line. The slimy taste was not good.

Was in Michigan a few weeks ago and had Oberon for the first time. Nice wheat ale with a good orange taste. I don't think they sell it west of the Rockies though, and they won't ship.
Beamish was recently brought back to the Yard House and BevMo, my all time favorite stout imported out of Ireland. Real clean finish, like water.

I got a bottle of some **** last night called "Hop Juice Double IPA" that said it was 9% but I swear after a little over half the bottle I was ****-faced. If you like the lethal IPA's try this one. Tastes like hop extract with a hint of citrus in the blend.
