Thread: Recommend-a-coffee thread

I don't really go looking for new stuff because I've been very happy with my regular stuff from Trader Joe's for years. Basically take your pick of a Sumatra/Colombia & whatever roast you like best. It makes for a great whole cup, or a great base to add any other flavors you like to.

You can do it on your own, or get the seasonal stuff in the can from TJs, but we tend to add in stuff like cinnamon, dried mint, peppercorns, cloves, cocoa... You just need a hint to make for an interesting and delicious cup.

I get 5 pounds delivered every 5 weeks... for under $45 SHIPPED ( under $9/lb.)... Yes, it is still 5 pounds, not the 11 or 12 oz. packages at the grocery store.

Costco has some good grinds too.

I drank a beer which used the coffee beans pooped out by civets. It was a supremely awesome beer, actually. I need to grab another bottle of it.
