I try and go with a new coffee (whole bean, got a Burr Grinder) each week, just like I would with beer.
Trader Joe's has the best in my opinion when considering quality and price. Coffee Klatch is hands down the best out there, and is definitely the go-to when commission kicks ass. Bad Ass Coffee in The Cuc is a new discovery after moving out there a couple weeks ago. Decently priced Kona, and if you're into the flavored stuff they have that too. Great quality, great prices.
If I'm going with store brands/generic stuff, I think Don Francisco's kicks the crap out of the competitors.
If ever in SLO County, get some of this and take it home >>> Joebella Coffee Roasters This is my "go to" coffee. Fresh beans, grind them for whatever type of coffee I'm making and enjoy.
Fall back is Trader Joe's Sumatra or Ethiopia. TJ's has some damn good coffee.
Now that I have all these great recommendations for coffee, I'm gonna need to upgrade my coffee maker.
French press! Awesome coffee, and it's cheap. Of course, it pretty much requires a pricey burr grinder.Quote:
