I've been there a couple of times and the vodka flights are outstanding. The food, at least when I last went in 2008, was good as well. But honestly, go there for the vodka. You won't be disappointed.
Cool, I've heard good things so this is just more fuel... Sounds really cool! We'll be there Friday before Frozen Fury prolly around 7-8...
I've only been there for the beverages. It's a cool place, I try to go every time I'm in Vegas. "Ice bar" is misleading if you're expecting something completely made of ice. It's a normal bar with a strip of ice through the top. I've never done the fur-coat-go-in-the-freezer-to-drink thing either. It can get crowded for bar-only, so be happy you're going early to eat so you'll get a table. I suggest getting one of their fruit martinis. Don't worry, they're not foo-foo. It's just vodka that's been infused with fruit. Straight up. No fuss. Perfect.
I think I fell asleep with a drink in my hand there once. Seemed cool at the time, I guess.
Truth be told, on a business trip a couple of years ago I took a client and his crew and the 12 of us ran up a tab of $1,100 and roughly 80% of the tab was vodka purchases. It was an epic few hours. I still don't know how I got back to my room that afternoon. Yes, afternoon.
Loved the food there when I had it at Frozen Fury last year. I also have had many Chernobyl's. Three different types of Vodka and Triple XXX liquor with cranberry(Served in a pint glass)
Well, if any LGK'ers are there on friday 10/1 about 7-8 or so we'll see ya there!
