Thread: Restaurant Promotions & Deals

I just got to thinking that Im always looking for a good promotion to draw me into a restaurant or grill. For instance I love hitting up Hennessey's Tavern in Hermosa Beach on Wednesday nights because they have 8 menu items that if you order, when done, the waitress will flip a coin. If you guess correctly, your meal is free.

Does anybody know of other places that have cool deals like this? When I lived in Chicago, all the corner taps had different things going on but it seems harder to find out here. I would love to hear your collective suggestions.

McCormick and Schmicks.. in Pasadena.. Wednesday night happy hour at 9:30pm. $2 burgers n fries, or crab cakes, or mussels, or fish n chips... You get the deal when you buy a beverage. You can't lose when eating an entire meal under $5 at a decent restaurant. We sometimes go after our Wednesday hockey games.

McCormick and Schmicks in Downtown LA has the same AWESOME happy hour Monday through Friday... plus a shuttle to & from Staples on game nights. Absolutely the best deal in town.

Hennessey's have 2 for 1 burger tuesdays as well

el gringo in hermosa has 2 for 1 taco tuesdays as well as quite a few other mexican places in the south bay

Carl's Jr. / Green Burrito in West Hills... 2 tacos for $1.25. (Used to be $.99) They're better by far than Jack In The Box.

A new Bevmo opened in Long Beach right next to Trader Joe's.
There is a $10 off $30 purchase coupon in today's LA Times.
