I've never tried it but I doubt that rum balls with bacardi 151 would taste good at all. Perhaps some other type. Did you check out the Rummy thread?

The comments are generally that it is pretty strong with the rum flavor. One person said cutting the rum with some Baily's turned out good. I'd consider using a light rum and adding some Amaretto or Frangelico.
