    Lightbulb San Luis Obispo Eateries

No better place than LGK to ask this...anybody know a great restaurant in SLO?

I'll be there next Saturday night. I've been there before (great town)...girlfriend hasn't, and I want to take her somewhere with great food or something romantic-ish, hopefully there is a place that combines both of those elements!

We're down with most types of cuisines, thanks!

Novo gets my vote! Ask to sit out on the patio. I guarantee great food and romantic atmosphere.

This is a college type place so if you're looking for nice, quiet/romantic sit down meal, pass on Firestone Grill. What sort of food do you prefer?
Sushi - go to Goshi at the Creamery.
    Thai - to to ThaiRrific.
Middle Eastern - Jaffa Cafe, best falafel and gyros around.
"Modern" food - Neon Carrot is great (it's relatively new but gaining a good following).
Italian - Buona Tavola is a great place to have a romantic dinner downtown.
Big Sky Cafe - good variety of fresh, typically organic fare. Always solid.
Cajun - Bon Temps Creole Cafe has been around a long time and delivers the goods as well.

If those don't work, PM me and ask. I've been a local since 86.

    - and reservations are strongly recommended as the wait can be quite long.
