Septemberfest can be best defined as America's answer to Oktoberfest. Having felt shorted for years by German food, Polka music, and Lederhosen, America finally claimed its own tradition of BBQ, 80's Glam Rock, and Daisy Dukes. The one constant? Beer.

Septemberfest will feature over 75 breweries, bbq, live entertainment, and all in all, a celebration of everything that's great about American culture. Admission is $40 and includes unlimited pours, but keep in mind that the event will sell out early and tickets will not be available at the door.

I'm going to the Stone 13 Anniversary beer festival in August. Bus down. Bus back. Drinking and eating in between. Yay!

Hmm, Paramount is right over the hill for me. I might have to make an appearance!

BTW, isn't Oktoberfest actually in September? FAIL!!!
