That is why I was asking....Maro's Shrimp House in Cabo had the BEST butterflied grillled shrimp. This place was not the typical fancy Cabo restaurant. It was a local place. I have NEVER seen any similiar shrimp places in LA so that is why I asking....maybe K&T can grill me some shrimp at her place. I ll buy!!

Figured I'd add my two cents into this, even though I've never eaten at the place. Killer Shrimp I've always heard is very good, however they only serve a couple different shrimp dishes. They're here in the valley (Ventura Blvd. and Colfax Ave., in Studio City). Worth a try if you're out in this direction. Or you could go across the street to Amir's Falafel and get some of the best falafel in L.A. Or you could head a couple miles northeast and go to Chinese Deli, my favorite Chinese food joint evar.

Were you not on your death bed recently? And now you're partying it up in Cabo??

You do realize the rest of us are working like dogs to pay for $4.25+/gallon gas, right?

Haven't been there in a long time - but I second the Killer Shrimp vote. There's one on.....I believe it's Washington Blvd in....I believe it's still considered Marina Del Rey. I'm a lotta help - since I'm not sure if that's the correct street - or city! But Killer Shrimp is the correct name at least!

If you have not yet been, you may want to try out "Taqueria Sonora". On a visit to Cabo many years ago, a local told us that was where they went to find a good meal. The place is the bomb- killer tacos, tons of different salsas, grilled cebollas (bermuda onions) and fantastic twice baked potatoes. Yum!! Makes me wish I was there right now

Yep, it is on Washington in MDR, and it is awesome. The only dish to get is the shrimp in the shell. The peeling and the messiness is part of the experience.

oddly enough I passed by the Killer Shrimp I refered to (in Studio City) and it's not there anymore. Oh well. Perhaps the drive-by screaming of "OH MY GOD!!! KILLER SHRIMP!!!" by my friends when we were newly licensed teenage drivers finally caught up and knocked them out of business.

Well at least Amir's and Chinese Deli are still in business.
