those commercials just make me want red robins.

Sonic Burger commercials usually bring forth the "WHY can't there be one closer than Fullerton?" EVERY time I see one. I never think to go there when I'm in the area visiting my parents either. Oh well.
Ruby Tuesdays brings forth the "**** YOU RUBY TUESDAY!!!" EVERY time I see one of their damned commercials. I've heard it's not that tasty, but I don't care. If it's true that one is opening in the Chino Hills area, I will go just so I can stop yelling at my TV, and then I'll most likely never go back.
I just had my first Sonic experience on Monday in Hesperia, coming back from Vegas. I spent the time eating and counting the chips in my windshield from the hailstorm from hell we drove through right before Baker.
For a guy who loves mustard, the burger was delictable. As was the Banana Cream Pie Shake that went with it. I decided to try the tots instead of the fries, and they were okay - nothing great. The wife had some Chicken Toaster thing, and thought it was good.
I stopped at the new one in Victorville/Hesperia on the way back from Vegas a few weeks ago in time for half price drinks from 2-4. It's on the Southbound side of the 15 between Bear Valley and Main St. The bizarre thing is I didn't notice the Sonic going in when I drove out to Vegas in June so when I drove out in July I was like "WTF! This Sonic wasn't here last month!". So you can get your Sonic fix on the way out to Frozen Fury.
I've been to Sonic for food a few times since there's one not too far from my sister in Vegas. It's ok. I definitely agree with the others about Sonic and Ruby Tuesday, it's something you want just because it's not here. Dunkin Donuts is another one. Vegas has all 3 of those chains though.
They're on every corner in Dallas. I'd rather have In'n'out than Sonic.
Try a Ruby Tuesday commercial. WTF man. That food looks good and I don't think there's 1 in California!
We, too, are sick of seeing Sonic ads. Closest for us is somewhere in Anaheim.
Fortunately, I get to commit Sonic-adultery occasionally while I'm out of town. For instance, there's one within a five minute walk from the hotel here in Denver.
Super-Sonic Cheeseburger with mayo, tater tots, cherry lime ade.
Dude, I'm retarted for the same thing everytime I go: Double Sonic with Chili and Cheese (YES with mustard!), chili cheese tots, and a 44 oz watermelon slush. That's it. Everytime.
The wife LOVES the Texas Toast Chicken sandwich! Sometimes, she'll get the Mac and Cheese bites. Yes, Virginia. There really is a Mac and Cheese bite.
For the Frozen Fury folks, there is one across the street from The Palms. The car hops are open until 2am, but the drive thru is 24/7. Friday for sure when I get in to town, and Sunday on the way home.
Sonic isn't that great but I do agree the ad situation is pretty ridiculous. Where Sonic does come through is the fact that you can get tater tots. I'm not a huge French Fry guy so the ability to do this switch out is huge for me. Plus if I'm feeling naughty I'll have them throw some nacho cheese on the tater tots.
its nice living 5 minutes from sonic, even though i only go once every 4 months or so. weekend nights it get absolutely packed with people on their way to or from clubs.
grilled cheese and tots. yeah
