Spot Prawn Season
Not sure if there are any fans out there but I just picked up a couple of pounds of spot prawns caught off the Channel Islands at Pier 46 in Templeton. I gave them a quick dunk (about 1 minute) in some salted boiling water and me and the boys are going to be feasting on them today. They may not last the hour. So ridiculously sweet and rich. Incredible. If you can find some where you are - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - go buy some (they must be alive though, don't buy them if they're dead). I may go back and get more to grill tonight.

Sounds good, I'm thinking it would be a good choice to make some scampi and seared scallops when the girl comes over for dinner this weekend.
