I have been drinking a juice for lunch everyday and my wife and I eat a more sensible dinner. I also stopped snacking at home and I have lost about 25 lbs in 5 months or so. Most of it before Thanksgiving and then I put some back on over the holidays. My juice is 2 green apples, celery, cucumber, kale and spinach. I have no self control but this seems to work for me, so I am happy. The drink is pretty tasty and I have it 5 days a week. Usually I would give that crap up after a week, but this is sticking. I know there are better things to juice but like I said it works for me. My clothes are all loose now and my clients that I have not seen since last year all notice.
I gave money for Operation thin Mint and I have not had one Girl Scout cookie this year.

hmm… something wrong here…
So I’ve been very consistent with the diet. I’ve cheated a bit here and there, but not much. One night I had a small amount of cheese, another night I had a beer… it doesn’t seem like the weight wants to come off. Maybe it can’t.
Every morning before I take a shower I do a 20 minutes of cardio that is in the vein of crossfit. It’s friggin nuts. I drink my protein shake and get ready for work. To add to this I’ve started running during lunch time. I’m running three times a week on a 3-mile route. So I’m a little confused on my weight.
One thing I have noticed is that I’m losing my “thick skin” and seeing more definition. So I think the first 6.5 lbs were just water and that this is my normal weight. It’s interesting that my body’s normal weight when I’m sedentary is 214 or so, but when I work out it drops to 207. Maybe I was just not eating enough protein and exercising enough for my body type.
One downfall to this is the new LA Kings boardshorts I just bought are fitting a little too loose for my comfort, so I don’t know what I’m going to do about it.
buy new shorts ? They have a drawstring so tighten it up.
March 2, I'm back on the bodybugg. I have really packed it on since injuring my Achilles' tendons early last year. It is absolutely flabbergasting to me (and scary, quite frankly) how fast the weight has come back. Finally they're starting to calm down a bit so that I can walk distance and elliptical.
This time, I want thirty gone. I came down from 340lbs starting in August 2009 to 222 in October 2010. That was too skinny for my frame, and I started a serious weight workout three days a week. I built muscle to increase my weight to 235 lbs and sat there for about a year and then some, and then last year while running intervals, I boogered my ankles. Had to take almost a whole year away from real cardio since it hurt to do EVERYTHING.
Good luck, daxx. Don't be a fatty like me!! :)
