i had those last saturday with beer. rode my bike down to the liquor store and that's all they had that looked good... and it was good! it really tasted like chili cheese. probably won't make a habit of them either though. it's almost summer time, no more chips for me if i want to wear a swimsuit. :(

Finally saw the Tapatio Fritos at the Wal Mart grocery store we shop at today. Even as a fan of hot sauce if I buy chips it's usually the nacho cheese or cool ranch Doritos and not any of the various spicy varieties out there. These are pretty good. I mixed some in the chili we made for dinner. Also liked the spiral shape.

The Chili & Cheese Ruffles aren't bad, I'd buy them again.

Little late to the party, but they also now have Wasabi doritos. Only place i have found them thouhh is the Costco in Fullerton. But even then it is not always there. Anyone seen them somewhere else? Maybe a Japanese market? They are GOOD!

I had some Wasabi Funyuns once and they were okay. I wonder if they still make them.

Doesn't tapatio mean bone an uncle in Espanol?

Thats a term used for people who are from the city of Guadalajara.

Doritos-related: we now have Tangy Dill Doritos up here (or again since I believe they used to exist). Taste pretty good too if you like pickles.

Pickle doritos, eh?
