    Default Tea

I've been drinking tea every day for the last few weeks.

Regular green or black tea, just to give me the pick-me-up I used to get from soda or other caffeine-containing drinks/foods and to take advantage of their supposed health benefits.

    Any tea connoisseurs out there?

    What do you recommend?

Which ones do you think are best for your health?

I recently made the switch from coffee to tea and its been great. I too have been drinking mostly black and green teas. I wouldn't consider myself a tea connoisseur but I am a big fan of Tazo brand teas they are usually very flavorful, I also like the Yogi Teas which are all organic.

I've been drinking tea for years - I only like black, Earl Grey is my favorite flavor, sometimes I drink Darjeeling.

My favorite, until recently, has been Tazo Earl Grey.

A co-worker recently went to Paris and brought back an excellent Darjeeling based Earl Grey by Mariage Freres that's the best I've ever had, main problem is it's VERY expensive, so I'll have to stick to Tazo.

Another favorite is Harney & Sons but I only like their premium tea.

I know its not the same, but I like the Starbucks Iced Green Tea, easy ice or easy water (since they weaken it alot with water and lots of ice)

Honestly, Just buy this stuff and make it yourself, It's better than Starbucks. Mitsuwa always carries it.

I also like this Tea India Chai. I buy it at the Indian Grocer for about $4

Been drinking tea for about a year now. Mostly loose leaf blacks, some greens and whites. I recommend Red Blossom Tea in Chinatown SF. Those people know their stuff.

Earl Grey, Vanilla Orchid, Rose Blossom, White Monkey, Golden Buddha, Jade Chai are the ones I have stocked away in my pantry, and all are so delicious. Try loose leaf and you'll never go back to bags

I picked up drinking tea while stationed in England.

For breakfast and general tea drinking I usually have Tetley British Blend. It is a good black tea that is very nice. The round tea bags are extremely convienient.

For a change of pace I like the selection of Teas at Teavana. Teavana Teas: Green Tea, Oolong Tea, Black Tea, White Tea, Herbal Tea and more

They have many different teas that you can taste test or sample in their stores. They offer a good selection of teapots and accessories. Their teas are all loose leaf teas, so the preparation is a little more involved.

    Some of my favorites are:

    Green:
Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearls Scented Green Tea - Teavana

    Black:
Masala Chai Flavored & Scented Black Tea - Teavana
    and
Sweet Cranberry Flavored Black Tea - Teavana

    Herbal:

Peach Tranquility? Herbal Tea - Teavana

There are so many more varieties when you get into the loose leaf teas. Loose leaf teas are the teas that I like best.

Another good tea that I just picked up is The Republic of Tea - Blackberry Sage Black Tea. Great taste and very refreshing.
