Default Is there frozen custard in SoCal?

This stuff is different than ice cream, more milk fat and eggs, and less air. Absolutely addicting. I almost never eat ice cream, but would eat frozen custard every night and gladly balloon up to 300lbs. There's a place in Irvine that comes close, but it isn't the real thing. You ever tried it?

Some great places in Vegas. Used to work downtown by Luv-It. Miss that place.

The Stinking Rose in Beverly Hills is the only place I've seen it.

I'd never heard of it until we moved out here to Denver. We have a local shop 2 blocks away that is incredible (they have a base of flavors and do one specialty per day), most days I have to try and forget it exists or I would definitely balloon up to 300 pounds! They even make their own drumsticks and "choco-tacos".

Yup...frozen custard FTW. First experienced it on a vacation to the Dells in Wisconsin years ago, along with fried cheese curd and butter burgers. No such luck out here tho.

Strickland's is one of a handful of things I miss from Orange County. Their strawberry is one of the best I've ever tasted. Ever. And their chocolate mint M&M is my kryptonite.

Yup, Stricklands is your answer. They only have 3 flavors.....vanilla, chocolate, and a rotating daily flavor.

Coffee Toffee frozen custard has to be the bomb.
