Jimmy john's is awesome. There are none around here (i think the closest one is in Fresno) and there are some in AZ but this place is awesome.

Olive's in Long Beach.

We are talking GOURMET ingredients like olive paste and seered ahi etc.

The pastrami sandwich at the Harbor Deli in Dana Point. Mmmm good!

This one might be a little be TOO far out of LA ... but IMHO nothing beats a Montreal Smoked Meat sandwich. Thanks to Costco, we can finally buy the 'real' meat out here in Western Canada.

I don't know if anyone has been to Big O's in Huntington Beach, but they have a great carne asada sub.

Brown Bag Deli. There is one located off of Wilshire on the Westside. The Sundowner is a great sammich. It has turkey, stuffing and cranberry and all sammiches come with a fresh cookie.
