The Bagel Cafe, Las Vegas
Get a very large Corn Beef sandwich, Chopped Liver or Pastarmi on bagel or rye.
How has no one said Busy Bee in San Pedro? Their sandwiches are scrumtralescent.
As for Pastrami the best one in LA comes from Da Hood....Langers across from MacArthur Park on Alvarado...remnants of when the neighborhood was Jewish.
Roma's Deli (in North Hollywood on Lankershim, above Victory)
their roast beef is the best in town. they also bake their own rolls, so they're fresh on a daily basis.
Anyone looking for something that might be fun and interesting in a couple weeks, there's the Grilled Cheese Invitational which will be taking place Saturday, April 19th.

I second the Johnnie's Pastrami.
West Valley is Dan's Super Subs, diced pickles on the tuna is the bomb!
Anyone mentioning pastrami and not immediately saying Langers is woefully uninformed.
