Since reading this suggestion, I've gotten one at least once a week.

It's not the tastiest sandwhich I've ever eaten but it's a lot of sandwich for the price.

Jackson market in Culver City. Its sort of hidden, but home of fantastic sandwiches with fresh bread and produce.

Now I want one! Haven't had one in forever... I think they come pretty dry just as ordered - but add a LITTLE BIT of mayo and some mustard = yum!

    YUM.

A delicious combination of Italian mortadella, cotto salame, Buon Gusto Italian salame, Italian capocollo, provolone cheese, peperoncini & crisp lettuce. Served on a fresh 16” torpedo roll.
    Hell yea! I love torpedos.

I suspect you mean BAY CITIES. Excellent choice, my friend.

Except next time you go, order the "GODMOTHER." Fan-tastic!

I need to go back there already. I'll have to check out the godmother next some time, but I think I'm going to have to get the pastrami first.

Say Cheese on the edge of silverlake & glendale, not the biggest sammy but definitely an A+ for taste.

Bay Cities is great in Santa Monica but very busy,I loved the huge variety of sides.

Has anybody in here tried a horseshoe sandwich? Not the most healthy thing in the world, but it kicks azz. 2 toasted pieces of bread on the bottom, then your choice of meat and fries on top of that. Then the cheese sauce to cover it all up. It originated in Springfield, IL where there is also a place you can get the best chili in the world.
