A Toast to the Kings!
OK, we all know that some day the Kings will eventually win the Stanley Cup, and the way things are looking it could be soon.
SO, I was thinking... Why don't we each put aside a bottle of our favorite beverage, whether it's a Bud Lite, Aquafina, or champagne... whatever. The DAY that the Kings win the Stanley Cup, you are going to pull out this beverage and enjoy it like NO BEVERAGE YOU HAVE EVER ENJOYED BEFORE!!!
OK, I'll start. DO NOT PLEDGE A BOTTLE UNLESS YOU REALLY PLAN TO SAVE IT FOR THE BLESSED DAY!
The wine thread
I put a bottle of this wine aside. The day the Kings win the Stanley Cup I will be enjoying this fine beverage.
(Props to Pete Demers: I stole his idea)

I lost my password
Every year since the lockout I've purchased a bottle of Château Yquem for this exact purpose. Every year since the lockout my Easter Dinner was capped off with a rather expensive, sickly-sweet French wine. Maybe this year it'll make it into June.

Good idea, I wont set it aside now but my drink would be a bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue. Never had it before but the Cup would mark a special occasion.

I keep a bottle of unopened Popov under my bed for when the day comes. :D
And if it never comes, well, I can still get drunk anyways. :D

HEMER - WEIN & SEKTGUT
This winery makes the best wine I have ever had. I brought back 24 bottles from my last trip to Germany a few weeks ago. I shall indeed set aside a bottle in celebration of our cup. It won't be long. I believe!!

I have a Kings shot glass. And since I'd say 2000-2001 or so, I said I wouldn't use it until the Kings won the cup.
As I've gotten older, I've come to enjoy Johnny Walker. So I'll probably put a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue away, like Mr. Conie. Sounds like a great idea.

Good Idea rinkrat. Yep, I remember the story about Pete Demers and the can of Oly that he kept for all those years, until the Kings made it to the Finals. I have a nice bottle of Andre and a bottle of ripple I am saving for the day they win the cup. Gonna make some Champipple.
