    Pot Roast is a cheap and easy recipe, to say the least. We do it all the time here...sometimes in the crock pot, sometimes in the oven. But TJ's stuff is really, really, really the most flavorful and moist potroast I've ever had...even over some restaurant versions I've had across the country.

    At the very least, it makes a great 5:30pm "Oh crap what's for dinner?" meal.
    Anything worth shooting is worth shooting twice. Bullets are cheap. Life is priceless.

    Shoulda read this before I went tonight. Couldn't find it. Only saw the frozen beef bourginone with potatoes and wine. Oh well hafta make another trip.

    I kinda want a crock pot but don't know if it would just take up space when I can braise other ways.

    So chuck roast was on sale today and i picked one up. I am going to cook it in my dutch oven with potatoes and carrots.
    Has anyone tried dredging it in flour before searing it?
    It should thicken the sauce up but i havent tried it before.
