Thread: Umami Burger Opening Soon in Hermosa Beach!

They talk about this place all the time in this podcast I listen to.

I tried the one on La Brea. The burger was awesome but the service sucked. If the other places have more of the former & less of the latter I'd easily go back. Plus it would help if they opened in the IE.

I'll certainly give it a shot. But it'll be hard pressed to beat The Counter purely on the variety. The only complaint I've ever had about The Counter is that their medium rare is basically raw ground beef.

But now i know to ask before i order.

The menu looks really good. I didn't know this place existed. I feel the NEED to try it now! What are some recommendations from those that have gone? Burger, sides, and beer?

They are opening one in Westlake Village but with the burgers @ $10 - $17 I think I'll pass unless one of my foodie friends is buying.

oh good, the camp is closer to me than the location in anaheim. w00t.

I have yet to eat at Umami in Hermosa but literally not a single burger sounds appealing to me (okay, maybe the Manly Burger).

If you're in the South Bay and want a absolutely decicious burger you need to go to The Standing Room
