Thread: Valhalla Table Costa Mesa...Sausages!

In Costa Mesa in the "The Camp" place lies Valhalla Table, a sausage restaurant that opened fairly recently. The interior is dominated by one long table that many people can enjoy with a few smaller tables around the edges. According to the special lady (I don't drink) they have a decent beer selection, but I was stoked that they had Thomas Kemper sodas stocked.

On this outing I had a chicken and cilantro sausage with carmelized onions as a topping(you get your choice one free per sausage) which was fantastic. Their fries are the belgian style and are cooked very well. I had a spicy chile ketchup with the fries that was a nice touch. They also have chili you can top your dog with and lots of vegetarian choices. Reccomended.

sausages seem to be the latest thing. I'm down with Belgian style fries though!

I heard about this place a couple of months ago and was excited because I heard "Valhalla" and thought mead and venison and stuff. It seems I was mistaken.

I posted the kink to the site with the menu but all it says is "home" down at the bottom. Seriously though, it was pretty great. I think there's a place like this in downtown LA but from what I have heard is much more expensive than Valhalla
