I usually keep things pretty simple, Rum & Coke, Screwdriver, etc. About the most exotic I get is Pina Colada or Margarita. My problem is sometimes I can't remember if something is a drink or a sexual position. Like a Donkey Punch or a Hot Carl.

I'm with Goallum....a good Side Car is hard to beat. Unfortunately, it is also hard to find. Most bartenders use too much brandy!

I'm primarily a beer drinker... but I do enjoy a Whiskey Sour or an Amaretto Sour w/ a dash of Sprite

but I was recently turned on to a 'Washington Apple'
    1/3 Crown
    1/3 Apple pucker
    1/3 Cranberry Juice
over ice... taste like apple juice...
*the larger the glass the better*

    Green Russian

    2 oz. absinthe
    2 oz. vodka
    1 oz. crème de menthe
    2 oz. milk

Shake ingredients, over ice, in a cocktail mixer. Strain into an ice-filled Collins glass. Drink, while thinking about the decisions that have brought you to this very spot, at this very moment."

I bartended for many years. I worked at the Warehouse in the Marina, and then Brennan's on turtle races night! Our bar manager was Charlie Simmer's roommate on the strand in manhattan beach. I Also worked with Jerry Korab's good buddy. We had a great hockey talk place after hours. I invented a simple drink, Malibu coconut rum and limeade, garnish within a wedge of lime. It makes a great afternoon beverage, or I whip up a half gallon for camping. I call it Mojave Magic. When the Kings win the Cup I will rename it "the forecheck" 'cuz once it gets rolling, it opens up your game!

If you go to the river this summer, try to make it to Serrano's Mexican Restaurant on Hwy 95 in Ft Mohave AZ. Best Cadillac Margarita around

Since I prefer Crown Royal anyways, I started drinking Crown Royal w/Cherry Coke and it's perfect. I've yet to find another person that drinks it as well though. I'll have a 7&7 as well sometimes.
