Tequila and OJ
Vodka and Tonic
Jack and Coke


There's also a place in Claremont that makes a sangria margarita that's pretty awesome.

if you like cherry coke & whiskey try Red Stag by Jim Beam... black cherry infused bourbon... by far my favorite alcohol.. i have 3 bottles at my house right now... 1 empty, 1 half empty, and 1 full bottle... red stag & coke is awesome. i make it in a margarita as well

Baileys Irish Cream on the rocks
Cadillac Margarita
Piña Colada

As the weather is starting to warm up, Campari & Club Soda with a twist of lemon peal and a cherry quite refreshing.

I'm all about Rye whiskey, so a Toronto (using maple instead of simple syrup) gets my top honor, with the Sazerac; "old" Old-fashioned; or a Manhattan all coming in close behind.

There are only 2 bartenders in town that I trust with those drinks. Anyplace else and it's a Gin tonic, Jack and Coke or draught beer. But if you want the best Toronto or Saz of your life, tuck into the nerd bar at my house for a glass of liquid heaven.

Oooh I forgot to mention the Aviation. Another classic favorite of mine that's been rebooted into current mixology and for good reason: it's damn delicious when measured correctly.

no doubt. i have a couple favorite places because they know what the f*** they're doing behind the bar. i'm not all that fond actually of going to drink at places that don't know what they're doing beyond a list of overly sugary, girly drinks. i'll definitely settle for a jack and coke or beer at those places when i'm there for strictly social reasons.
