What are some cocktails you like to drink?

I like:

Piņa Coladas
Rum & Coke
Bloody Mary's
Micheladas (Beer & tomato juice concoction. Not for the beer purists)

What do you like?

Beer is not a cocktail, and the premise that it's everyone's default drink is quite presumptuous.

To answer the question, a well-made Sidecar makes me happy.

Beer is my default. But to answer the question...not much of a cocktail person. Too many nights of charcoal filtered vodka and west indies rum out of plastic jugs from Savon in my youth killed most of my tastebuds for liquor. But there are still some drinks I'll have on occasion.

Long Island iced tea (was my fav for a long while)
Mojito
Mai Tai

Others:
Irish coffee
Michelada (on a camping trip a buddy made many of these with Cholula, Bud, vodka, and clamato. Tasted like carne asada and I was loving them)

OMG, i love micheladas. i had them the whole time i was on vacation in mexico last summer and never got sick. most amazing drink EVAR. i have 'em at home all the time now.

mint julep
jack and coke
mimosa

also, while not my most favorite, i'm a big fan of whiskey so i'm down for drinks such as:
old fashioned
sazerac

I have never had a michelada, but the idea of tomato & beer?

i totally thought this. i've never been into bloody marys and the thought of clamato grossed me out, but it is so good. it's like a savory beer. you never know 'til you try it. i usually get pacifico, mix it with clamato picante, lime, worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper. i'd like to find clamato without high fructose corn syrup in it though.

I love Micheladas. I can't order them at regular bars so the next best thing is a Bloody Mary. Though, my boyfriend says, "Hello? Yes... the 70's called & they want their drink back." LOL He thinks it's an old school drink, but for this Latina it's the next best thing to a properly prepared Michelada. Even Bloody Mary's aren't that great in every bar. It has be a specific place that knows how to prepare them well.

Unholygoalie, my boyfriend's favorite drink is a Long Island Ice Tea.

One more to add that I forgot about it - Pisco Punch
