Mushroom, Pepperoni and Olive
Same thing every time, the perfect combo

They are a very expensive fungi. The Tuber magnatum truffles sell between $2,200 and $1,000 US per pound.

Truffle oil is a modern culinary ingredient added to foods, which is intended to impart the flavor and aroma of truffles to a dish. Most truffle oils are not, in fact, made from actual truffles, but are instead a synthetic product that combines a thioether (2,4-dithiapentane), one of numerous organic aromatics odorants found in real truffles, with an olive oil base. A few more expensive oils are alleged to be made from truffles or the by-products of truffle harvesting and production, though the flavor of truffles is difficult to capture in an oil.
I always wondered about how many truffles it would take to make that much oil. It's not a big bottle, but it did come out smelling amazing. Last years FF we ate at place right at MGM and they had a white truffle twice baked-over potatoe. Damn thing was 6 lbs!! But wow the smell when it came out was something I'll never forget.

I like all forms of pie, (NY, Chicago, California gourment, etc.) but always go back to the simple NY formula of crust (soft and chewy on the inside and crusty out), cheese, sauce.
As far as toppings, I always add just mushroooms and sometime bell pepper. Thats' it.
Not a big fan of pepperoni.
a traditional "all meat" pizza (pepperoni, canadian bacon, bacon, sausage, meatballs, etc...) with pineapples & jalapenos
so i've been craving pizza since mr. I's harassing pizza thread and tonight i finally get to have it and i'm getting those as my toppings! i'm so excited!!! (sorry, but when i get to indulge in my cravings, i get excited).
normally, i don't really like pepperoni, but i used to eat it when i was a kid. also, i usually don't get olives on my pizza because the husband doesn't like olives, but he's eating pizza (pepperoni and jalapenos for him) at work so i get whatever i want tonight. so when i get mushrooms and olives on my pizza, i like to get pepperoni too, just like i used to when i was a kid. it is the perfect combo!
oh and flyinking, too bad your joint is too far away or i'd be ordering from you!
When I worked at Dominos back in 1988, we all had our own concoctions. I liked to pour a little of the jalapeno juice into the sauce. When I made a pic there, it was that sauce (lots of it) on thick dough, thin first layer of cheese, pepperoni, more cheese, and more pepperoni. Depending on the mood, maybe I'd put a jalapeno under each pepperoni.
But, when I get a pie somewhere now, my desired toppings are always dependent on where I'm at. When I get Joe Peeps, it's all about their pepperoni and meatball (sliced) with extra sauce. (And if you've ever had JP, you know extra cheese is never something you order.)
