My girlfriends dad is bring over some fresh Halibut he caught, not quite sure what im gonna make with it or how im gonna prepare it yet.

breaded and fried Dover sole with rice and sauteed green beans.

How did you cook it? Just found out that after 22 years im nit allergic to seafood so I think halibut will be my first choice.

Halibut is excellent if you beer batter it and make fish and chips

I didnt end up cooking it because i went to the game, but last time i did i cooked it with some capers, butter and white wine. Ill track down the recipe.

Awesome tips guys! I gotta try it soon! Is that the best fish to take my seafood virginity then? As far as what I made tonight, steamed cheeseburgers with my special hashbrown patty in the middle which I mix with onions and cheese and ketchup with a few dashes of Tabasco.

made some bacon fried rice tonight with enough for leftovers tomorrow for breakfast.
