Fish 'n chips from a place called rose and crown up by me. Best fish 'n chips around.

I didn't know that this thread existed, but what a good idea. :good:

I made pot roast for the first time and did it in the crock pot. Came out really tender, and the spuds and carrots were perfect. Gonna tweak it a little next time but I was very pleased with the results.

There's a place called the Pike Bar in Long Beach on 4th St. that I will put up against those. The place is owned by the former drummer of Social Distortion, who goes to the harbor every morning and buys fresh sole for the fish and chips. They are so tender and delicious!
