i don't like sending food back. i've heard too many stories from people i personally know who work in the industry. i just eat it and never go back. i didn't lose any money. i had a $200 gift certificate. i specifically asked for just below medium rare and it was well done, no red AT ALL. my husband wasn't really into whatever he ordered either.

Rock n Fish, Manhattan Beach is my go to steak.

No secret my love for all things beef palace. For Low Key and ditching the formality I like Clearmans Northwoods Inn. You can go in shorts, get a schooner of beer, and unlimited garlic bread. Love it.

If you are on the road, Gallaghers in the New-York New-York in Vegas. Great sides and salads, oh, and did I mention the drinks...?

HT Grill in Redondo has a pretty damn good steak.

I didn't like Morton's either. The way they show you the raw meat in the saran wrap is really cheesy too.

For SoCal restaurants, I like Ruth Chris the best. If you want to grill, Hows in Pasadena has prime grade steaks.

SW Steakhouse - Wynn Las Vegas and Encore. Pricy but worth it!

haha, that and how they roll the broccoli and potato out on a cart to show you all their produce before it's cooked. i don't need to feel like i'm in a grocery store! :grin:

I'm partial to The Palm for several reasons, but I've never, not once, been disappointed by a steak there.
