That part has never been hard for me. If I am driving, I have no problem cutting off the alcohol. I have turned down many a drink at Staples for that very reason.

Good for you. Unfortunately if you get pulled over 2 drinks, can smell like 10 to a cop. Coupled with most older guys (and lots of younger ones) couldn't pass a FST sober. I can remember when some LEO's would start the old breathalyzer at .10 before you blew.

Also you could be below .08 and belch just before the breath test and skew the reading higher. Best not to have anything if you get behind the wheel.

This took a turn away from the original post. I was asking for recommendations on a sports bar, not a lecture or advice on drinking. I rarely have more than 1 beer or drink when I am watching football at a sports bar. I find it hard enough to concentrate on a game in a bar without adding alcohol. I am looking for a bar that will have every NFL game and will be open for the morning games. While your good intentions are noted, I am well aware of the need to find alternate transportation when drinking.

I am with you on that one. It would be nice to have shuttles running all day from bars to our home town. A wishful dream. It would be in the best interest of the bar to provide transportation, we would be in there all day, spending at least a C-note without noticing.

Excuse me for trying to be helpful.

I think I just threw up in my mouth a little. *shiver* The Rumpleminz flashback was not good, not good.

This is my new favorite place
The Tap Room at Langham Pasadena
The drinks are a little more expensive than other places, but the service, ambiance and view are amazing. Worth every penny if you ask me.
