as long as I don't have to blow into some part of the horse, it's all good.

We finally made it to the Back Abbey. As you said, the beer list alone is reason to go. I've got to be honest though, I was a little disappointed w/ the burger. Maybe it was just hyped up too much by our friends. Don't get me wrong, it was very good. Even our friends who go there a lot said that the burger has slipped a little bit recently. I was expecting the meat to be a little thicker (shut up). The fries were amazing.
Seriously, go to the Tripple and try it out. Amazing. Also, the City Tavern in Culver City has an amazing burger as well.
The Penalty Box!!
It's called Union on Yale. I haven't been there yet, and have heard mixed reviews. I probably spend most of my time at Eureka Burger, because I like their bar area and know most of the bartenders. Back Abbey I try to get to before 5 because I think the early crew does a better job on the burgers (The owner is more likely to be there, plus they are not as busy). The thing with Back Abbey is their burger really needs to be medium rare at most. If it gets over cooked, it really loses flavor fast.
But, if you are in the area, let me know. I am less than 10 minutes walking distance to the Claremont Village.
