Still wanting to try something from a Thomas Keller or Joel Robuchon restaurant. Gonna have to find some time for breakfast/lunch/dessert at one of their Vegas spots. Hof and Craftsteak will be a lot of fun, though.

For casual dining, the Wolfgang Puck that is right in the middle of MGM Grand is really good food in a casual setting. Ask about the specials. I eat there right before the game every year.

I do ****ing rule, and this ****ing ruler says I'm not paying 2.75X retail for a ****ing bottle of wine.

That being said I may have considered it at retail, or at least I would have suggested we all go in for one.
    That wine is THAT good.

Kat and i were having dinner not too long ago with some friends of ours, and one of my buddies' better half used to work at Wally's. she was talking about how much the restaurant mark-up is and how sometimes you just want to take your own s*** and pay the corkage.

this came on the heel's of a tasting we went to in Temecula. the owner of the Briar Rose Winery was telling us that is reserve Cabernet, which is like $40 there at the winery, was currently being offered exclusively by two restaurants on the West side for over $150.

    eesh!
