Broaster Kitchen in Montebello... i've been going there since i was a kid and have always liked it. every once in a while though, something will go wrong and the taste disappears, and then i don't return for a while. but when i DO go back, it hits the spot again.

oh and the place hasn't changed its decor in like 30-years. it's a real s***hole... it's great!

Broasted Chicken at the Lamplighter on Desoto and Nordhoff...

Half a chicken, two sides, soup/salad and drink for under 12-13 bucks.
Chicken is amazing, pea-soup is great also.
