Thread: WingStop

maybe there's a thread about it here, maybe not, but here goes....


last night my wench and I went to a Wingstop in Monrovia. we ordered online beforehand, so we got a 16 piece chicken strip in 3 different flavors: lemon pepper, hickory smoke bbq and parmeson garlic.

when we showed up to pick up our order it took them 5 minutes to look for it. turned out that some dumb**** behind the counter gave it to someone else without a required signature, so we ended up waiting 15 minutes for a new order.

I found out later today from a carpool mate who had gone to that place before that the same thing almost always happened to him and his wife.

whiskey tango foxtrot aside...

the chicken strips weren't that fantastic, just on par with a fast food place. so were the fries, although I find them to be way better than MickeyDs and other joints.

bottom line, for a good chicken dinner, I'll go to Teri&Yaki around the corner from WingStop. maybe I could pick up just the fries from WS on the way home.

WingStop sucks.

i like the fries there, but the service is poor.

You ordered them wrong... Wingstop has never done me wrong.

(well, the service is shoddy but what do you expect from the type of people they hire?)

Wing stop and buffalo wild wings always do me right. Anyone been to wingnuts in upland? I wanna go with the misses soon.

Gotto order wings (on the bone) from a Wing Place. The Wings are a lot better than the strips. Slow and poor service seems to be a constant amongst everyone I've spoken to. I prefer Wingnuts and their fire grilled wings over this place.

Wingnuts puts the rest of the Wingstop and Buffalo Wild Wings to shame. If you have time during the day they have a Buy 1 get 1 free offer Mon-Fri. My wife hates wings but she will not have a problem gobbling down half of my 20 piece meals. The only thing I don't like about the place is when there's a Kings game on they always put it on the broken TV but other than that I would highly recommend it.
