Unbelievable.
I shared a whole chicken and a falafel plate with my friends over the weekend.
Dare I say, Zankou chicken is God's chicken.
If, like me, you haven't been lately, this is your reminder.

at the Cedar House?
I BELIEVE I'll have another beer!
Just ate there the other night, and noticed two things. 1. The Pasadena location now finally serves tabbouli, though it's still not on the menu, and 2. the garlic butter is now pre-processed. Still good, but pre-processed just the same.
Zankou Hollywood was a staple of my diet a lonnnng time ago. That and Roscoe's are the two places I still get junkie-like cravings for.
~ call me ~
I've gone to this place since it first opened in Hollywood. When the owner flipped out I was as shocked as anyone. But read the Zankou article in the current (75 Best Restaurants in LA) issue of Los Angeles magazine. Incredible story.

****ing love Zankou.
Good stuff, I wish there was one down here in SD.
Surely the spices in the chicken and liquid crack melted into the garlic sauce have nothing to do with that most every person in line including ourselves looks strung-out somehow. The haters can hate themselves blue but Zankou is a fast-food joint and they make no bones about it. And for fast-food it's ****ing outstanding. If only it could be a Zankou drive-thru every three stoplights instead. Love the little foil ball of peppers and pink pickles too.
Meh......I personally think it is way to greasy for my taste......but then again I think SPAM is the food of gods so what do I know......
Some Spam and egg fried rice always hits the spot.If you don't feel like that how bout some spam ramen, or spam and spam.....how I missed that meat of love for many years.
I have never been to Zankou Chicken since there are none here in the South Bay. Ya see if it aint in the South Bay it aint *****!!!!
Went to the Anaheim location saturday.....amazingly good. The Wife and I were using corn chips to eat the rest of of the hummous and sauce the next day. Zankou is the bomb!
