Zankou Chicken FTW!!!!!
I figured that with 734980 "Let's all bitch about STAAAAMKOS" threads, we can have at least two Zankou Chicken threads, no?
Anyhow, what should one get on one's first visit to this fine establishment?

It's actually slow-food wrapped and masquerading as fast-food. I think that's part or the appeal.

The latest issue of LOS ANGELES MAGAZINE has a huge article on the founder of Zankou. It's about how it started, him murdering his mom, aunt, and then himself and the aftermath. It's on the 5 year anniversary of the murders. Super interesting!

The rotisserie chicken and/or a shwerma.
Zankou roasts you a nice crispy chicken with good seasoning.
Since I'm not local anymore when I do go I go nuts and get a whole chicken and a falafel plate.

Is the article online anywhere? I tried google but couldn't find the full article.
