Of the various responses today's blog received, this is the first one to which I take issue. Are you really taking issue with me for not reporting every single thing said then including (apparently) but not limited to what you contributed? My best response is that again apparently I am guilty of being human. Go figure... You easily could have included your question and Hextall's response as a comment in any of my 3 blogs from that meeting.

I get it. You have lost faith with the organization, the coach, the GM. I am quite sure you have a lot of company there.

sorry Carla..the "why?" was inartfully placed. I did not mean to ask you why no mention...I just meant to ask, why did I ask the question to Hextall. I realize of course, not all questions were reported and nor should they have been.

True enough but you are the only one who dissected the blog (which is fair game no doubt) and who also is the only one that looked for a way for the team could move. From what I could decipher from your initial comments here, there was NO more evidence in this thread that the Kings would leave than any other post/response in any other thread where the topic was discussed by you (to the extent I have looked). Which brings me back to why is that... only you would know.

Tell me, are we going to go through this again when the newest AEG moneymaker is finished in Vegas? And not to beat a dead horse, the Kings are not losing money, it is just reported as revenue for AEG and Staples. I for one believe that the NHL will expand to 32 teams when the arena in Vegas is done. I hope that AEG sells 100 % of its interest in the Kings, I will dance a jig when that happens.

I dissected your post because you were so completely dismissive of the idea that I felt you should give it a second thought.

I never woke up looking for a way for the Kings to move. My dad and I were talking one day about what the hell the Kings were doing. Not everybody is content to say "Well gosh Lombardi just MUST have the answers". So we were mulling over some thoughts regarding AEG, Lieweke, the NHL, Lombardi etc etc etc and it occurred to us that there were signs of a potential move.

I can't provide evidence for something that hasn't happened. All I can do is point out certain conditions that would make something a possibility and then state my opinion. The fact remains that nobody has presented anything that would actually PREVENT it from happening.

I'm not asking people to prove to me that it won't happen... but I will ask people to prove that it CAN'T happen.

The truth (that you're so fond of) is that it absolutely could happen and there are reasons (no matter how unlikely you think they are) that it might.

AEG wants a tenant in The Sprint Center. So far they have failed on a number of occasions to get one.

The simplest explanation is usually the correct one.

AEG owns a team in a crowded arena.
AEG wants a team in an empty arena.

The emotional response to that is to insist that it could never happen that AEG would move the Kings, not to suggest that they might.
