Black jersey should be banned league wide. They're all boring (minus the teams that actually have black in their logos - which comes down to only Bruins and Penguins).
Besides, like it was said many times here, the Kings ALREADY HAVE a black jersey !!!
They should have gone back to purple and gold yellow...
And maybe even old crown logo...
Blues, Pens, Islanders and Oilers made stunning 3rds.
The rest are more or less meh...

Carla, thanks for replying to my questions. I was pleasantly suprised by this blog and found it to be very interesting. As far as this jersey goes, I did not like the logo. I thought there should have been something more to it. I also didn't think that jersey should be black. Just like alot of people around here. After reading that interview, it has opened my eyes so to speak. Seeing the whole thing put together has made it look kind of cool. Final opinion will be tonight, when we see it on. For all you doubters out there, If one believes (thinks) they are tougher, than they are tougher. Do not under-estimate the power of the mind.
There is never 100% agreement (by fans or otherwise) that a design meets the criteria that is set.
My love of this team will not be swayed by a jersey. And hearing the story behind the jersey makes me want to get one.
I just don't get why you guys hate it so much. There are better things to complain at the Kings about, like the price of beer and cost of parking.

Have you seen the TV adds were a guy stands up in a Kings jersey and everyone is intimidated.
Well, this jersey won't be in it but maybe it's not supposed to be.
Now, for the next jersey.......
No more 50's look, Disney hype, pinstripes and so on.
It must make the players look BIG, TWICE as BIG.
Like they are on 10 inch skates.
Like a giant Suit of of Armor with a dominating logo.
Of a CROWN bellowing trumpets of FIRE.
Spitting ICE and broken PUCKS
When my KINGS hit the ice they will look like an
