Thread: Ducks reveal new name/logo

The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim have shortened their name to the Anaheim Ducks as of 11am this morning and have moved their site to www.anaheimducks.com to reflect the new name. They also officially released the new logo via the updated team web site:

I have to admit, it is much better, but I wonder how long until they change from the "Ducks" to something else. At least we don't have to see teal and eggplant anymore...

Honestly, if they want to toughin up thier image, they need to get rid of the lamest tv announcer on the planet...BRIAN GAYWARD!!! or Hayworst, whichever you prefer.

I bet anything that right now he's sitting poolside in a white robe, sipping vodka martinis in the shade and refering to his wife as "Lovey".
