I may have to go all in for a home game vs. Calgary.

These three losses in the last 4 bets are breaking my spirit as well as the bank.

$25 million squandered. If the NHL still had ties, I'd have kept that fortune on a push.

Tied a franchise record of points in 11 straight games, so that is cool.

Keep telling my son that you will not win every game so to me if you are gonna go 7-4 in 11 games, make the 4 losses OT losses so you get points.

18 points out of a possible 22 in this stretch they are on. That is pretty good. Went from 18 points to 36 and jumped from 10th overall I believe it was to 5th.

Having said all that, I still hate the shootout.

Oh I hate the OT point and the shootout, but if it's part of the game at least a loss is easier to swallow when you get a point.

Then a team like Detroit would not be where they are at cause they would be 12-14 and not have 7 points for OT losses.
So to me right now the Pacific div would look like this.
San Jose 16-8
You get the idea.

Thanksgiving Holiday Factoid.
The pumpkin pie, bread, et al, you either made with canned pumpkin or bought at the store or bakery, isn't made out of pumpkin at all. It is made out of Blue Hubbard Squash.
It seems that real pumpkin is way to stringy and tough, hard to peel, and tastes like crap, so they use the Blue Hubbard Squash.
