Holy Mother when is this game gonna get here? I'm going crazy with this many days between games.

It's like a mini offseason. I don't like mini offseasons.

....and now for something completely different......

Wrote this in the Meet the Players thread as well.

Lucky enough to be in the front 15-20 of the line for Doughty, Richards, Clifford, King, and Nolan. Kept hearing the traffic excuse over and over. Once line started to move Clifford was first, he was very business like, but nice. Doughty was next and in good spirits, he signed a photo for me and afterwards I looked at him and said, "the taking pictures thing was not thought out well" (the players were behind a table and they had to stand up and lean over the table) he replied, "this is horrible, no interaction with you guys". Moved on to King and congratulated him on his hat trick against the Coyotes. He asked if I threw my hat and I told him no, I had just bought it. He then said something along the lines that he wouldn't have thrown a hat for himself, he liked his hats as well. Richards was up and in the course of him signing a puck for me the lady who does that weekly Kings show came up and asked Nolan something about, since we are at the zoo, what animal would certain teammates be. Forgot what he said for Frattin, but then when she asked what King would be, he said elephant. Doughty looks at me and says, "what did he say", I replied, "elephant". Doughty looks at King (whose ears were quite prominent) and says, "oh sh.., no he didn't." Richards looks over and nods that he did say it, Doughty started laughing. Nolan was straight faced the entire time, including signing my puck. My daughter was towards the front of the line for Kopitar, Williams, Frattin, Vey, and Scrivens and told me that they were all super nice but that Scrivens was easily the nicest of the bunch.
