Real nice airport in Dubai. So much money there. Beverly Hills shopping. Fun to look but I can't afford to buy anything. I'll be back there in about 9 hours for a 3.5 hour layover, then 16.5 hours back to L.A. These 30 hour travel days are a bit taxing.

Hope the Kings can keep me awake during the game tomorrow.

Not enough time to leave the airport. I can't remember if the lounges there had beds available. Kind of a crappy layover length but what can you do. Safe travels!

Only if the Swiss Cheese does not get lined up.

In the Swiss Cheese model, an organization’s defenses against failure are modeled as a series of barriers, represented as slices of cheese. The holes in the slices represent weaknesses in individual parts of the system and are continually varying in size and position across the slices. The system produces failures when a hole in each slice momentarily aligns, permitting (in Reason’s words) “a trajectory of accident opportunity”, so that a hazard passes through holes in all of the slices, leading to a failure.
