I think when we start winning and making the play-offs, and later, when we win the Stanley Cup, we'll be on par with the Lakers and the Dodgers.

WHEN we win the cup, not IF! Hopefully that confidence translates to the ice this year for him and the whole team.

Heh. Uhh, no. He said that he's bigger than him at the same age. And I think he left it at that.

Anybody that has actually seen him play so far that has reported back here or HF was not impressed.

I've played against him in pickup. Gasper is a brick of a kid, his body is seriously strong, I thought he was a lot older than he is. He has a really good/quick release on his shot (and it is a heavy shot), just has to get more accuracy. He's pretty strong on the puck, as well.

he can be very creative on the ice. definitely leans more towards being a sniper vs a playmaker.

he's 16 about to turn 17. I definitely think he can be someone special. he still has a couple of years to grow, too.

oh, one other thing, he seems to have a great attitude, too.
