There was free food and games. Food being cookies and cinnamon buns that disappeared moments after they appeared. And games being air hockey and bubble hockey that were always occupied.

And discounted jerseys were either older versions or blank new versions. Neither of which I wanted. :(

So it wasn't very cool, imo.

Free food!! One thing I noticed was a more relaxed atmosphere than you get in the usual Staples Center experience. Everyone seemed in very good spirits, I even shot the **** with Rogie and Ian Turnbull. Rogie injured his wrist changing a lightbulb and I said, "Oh no, that's your glove hand!". He looked at the brace and kind of thought for a half-second and said at the same time as Turnbull, "Hey it is!".

Lucky guess by me. ;)
