Of course, its dialogue that has been going on now for what? 2 seasons? Three?
We need new dialogue. I'm also tired of the 'Cammy and a pick' threads. I'm glad O'Sullivan is doing as well as he is on the first line. But we need 4 good lines. Great lines, if we want to win anything. The Ducks won it with 4 good lines. 2 great ones and 2 good ones. They didn't make too many mistakes. The Kings have 2 good lines and 2 mediocre, we'll see how we feel like playing tonight lines.
Goaltending is still an issue. Jason is getting a little better as the season goes on. He's never played an entire NHL season. After that family issue, he was bounced around - Manchester to the bench, maybe play a game, back to the bench down to Manchester again. This is the first season where he will be able to play in the same place for an entire 82 game season in the NHL. Aubin - he could stay or go. He doesn't bring anything.
I think Cammy is a piece to this team that they need. He's a great scorer. Everyone here is seeing that he's injured and since we've have a pretty injury free season so far (as compared to past seasons) their drop kick reaction is to boot him from the team for someone healthy - as in the past. He's a little guy who takes the body every night and gives 100%. He's always hustling and trying for the goal.
When he's on the line with Kopitar and Brown, they are right there with him on up ice rushes. If there is a chance for a goal, the three of them are ALL over it. Same with O'sullivan and these 2 guys. Look at some of the other lines. If they're tired, they go for a line change leaving their linemate breaking up the side with no one to pass to, no one to possibly catch a rebound. No one. All alone. Chemistry. Thats what some of these lines have. Thats why I'm opposed to Crawford moving people around like pieces on a chess board. Some lines have chemistry. AND YES, there are teams who are going to shut down your top scoring line, but thats the job of the 'top scoring line' - change your angles, stop playing Crawfords ridiculous staged plays. If you watch closely, you can see the same crap being played on the ice. The same plays. Any opposing team can watch game tapes and see the plays and know how to stop them.
Cammy is an important aspect of this team. Why anyone would want to get rid of him is beyond me. And yes, I can hear the bipolars now when he's traded to another team and scores those 50 goals in one season.
